Allison Stafford

(aka Alli) – I grew up in Bradfordsville, KY. have always had a fascination with music, performing and songwriting. I grew up around music my whole life. My grandpa Rex played mandolin in a Bluegrass band. I grew up listening to Country of the 90s, Reba, Brooks and Dunn and my biggest hero as a kid, Terri Clark.

I learned to play guitar when I was 10. After the passing of my papaw Rex I wanted to be like him. So my next door neighbor Laura, taught me how to play. And I just sang to Terri Clark everyday, all day (sorry mom and dad).

I played in several talent shows and churches growing up, a few praise and worship bands, and sang a lot of karaoke…. a lot. And once I was out of high school, a friend of mine (Elijah Coffey) hit me up to play in a local talent show in Campbellsville called the K-Country Showdown. He wanted to put together a band. So we did.It was my first time ever having a band of my own. It was just supposed to be for the talent show and then it was supposed to be over. One and done. But we played the talent show, had the time of our lives, we won, and we decided to keep going. And while instruments have changed hands over the years, we’re still No Deceit.

Being in this band has been the privilege of my life. I’ve spent almost a decade of my life dedicated to this group of guys and I love them like they’re my brothers. We’re family and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them. Playing music and writing songs that are fun to jam to and are just plain good, is what we’re all about.
